So the sports community has Chiefs,Braves,Redskins,Blackhawks,Fighting Soieux,Fighting Irish,Celtics,Fighting Illini(indian logo),Saints,Royals,Indians,Knickerbockeres,Islanders,Devils,Avalanche,Jazz,all sorts of animals like rams, bears,lions,sharks,jaguars,panthers,cardinals,eagles,Bills, and ravens. Men of might like Royals,buccaners,giants,pirates,kings. NOT TO FORGET RELIGIOUS FIGURES LIKE ANGELS AND DEVILS AND SAINTS Plus millions of other local team names that give some sort of reflection of local color...with the exception of the Montreal Expos because that team name is so retarded they team should fold..oh wait it might. Also the Memphis Grizzlies..there are no bears in Memphis,TEnnessee.And the L.A.Lakers..for there are no lakes in L.A. Not to mention the Utah Jazz..where do you hear Jazz in Utah? So my point is..that people should let it go. Im sure the Indian tribes at one time where rampant in those areas and they contributed a lot to creating a name. A name is a name there is no harm no foul there.
