: I've just found out that it was your brother who I saw perform as part of the Miles Hunt Club in Colchester a mile or so ago. That's an incredible enough co-incidence to me in my present stoned state, but I thought I'd let you know that the gig really reached out to me. I'm addicted to live music and wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary, but the songs were compelling and powerful enough to make the night an incredible experience. I have to confess that I can't remember the names of the other band members, so I don't know which musician was your brother, but I remember the guitarist had written a beautiful song called "Love Can Make You Sorry" which I'd love to somehow find a copy of.

: At the Colchester gig there was a problem with the bass guitar at some point, so Miles played an acoustic track called "Smoked", which touched my heart and ended a patch of lyrical writer's block I'd been suffering. I downloaded the track immediately when I got home (sorry, but I'll buy the album when it comes out!) and have been addicted to it ever since. I recommend it to anyone who's reading this.

: Also, the same evening the episode of The Sopranos showed when Paulie and Christopher were out in the woods where the song "Muzzle" was supposed to have been written.

: Anyway, if you get the chance, thank your brother for a fantastic night and if you could get him or anyone in the band to take a listen to the songs at http://www.shootspeed.com, my band The Womb's first two singles are there as free mp3 downloads so I'd greatly appreciate some feedback (this goes out to anyone else reading too).

: Hope you get a chance to see the Miles Hunt Club live, great work in the Ejay pictures, stay beautiful.

: Shine on,

: Alan (The Womb)

Hey Alan,
My brother Michael is the guitarist. He wrote "Love Can Make You Sorry". He also co-wrote with Miles a bunch of the songs on the new CD. I'm so glad you got to see them! I wish I could have gone to England to see them!!
To all the people in NJ - My brother Michael is playing out at the Saint in Asbury Park on Friday, March 1st. It's with his other band called the "Amazing Meet Project". He will be playing that song that Alan is talking about! Really, don't miss it if your free.
