diet and excercise are the only ways to lose wieght and reliably keep it off. There are other ways but they either cost ALOT (read liposuction) or are only a temporary fix (read diet pills).

If you go with a temp fix you will gain the wieght back once you get back to your normal lifestyle. You have to change your lifestyle (eating and exercise habits) for good before you can lose alot of wieght and keep it off.

I was once a heavy man.....the only thing that got me down to my current wieght was eating healthy food 6 days a week. (I would say fuck it on day 7....made the other 6 days easier to get through) and exercising at least 3 times a week.

Although if the problem is glandular then none of the above will help and you need to see a physician.
