What's your favourite John Hughes movie? I assume TBC, but I thought it was worth asking (I love that movie so much that I am listening to Simple Minds; Don't you forget...on a loop.
Am I the only one who sees there's John Hughe's references in all your directorial efforts/achievments?
I see CLERKS as a foulmouthed JHughes movie, MALLRATS is a homage, AMY has the 'What? Did she live in Canada or soemthing' line which I believe is a reference to WEIRD SCIENCE.
And then DOGMA and JSBSB....
When you say JERSEY GIRL is the best thing you've ever written do you mean in a dramatic sense (AMY is my least favourite Askewniverse movie, although it's still great)?
Well, it's admirable you're so in touch with your fans. There's something Hughes never did, the guy was so annoying that he got a guy to leave a buddhist temple, and then, he wrote NATIONAL LAMPOON'S CLASS REUNION.
Thanks for your time,
AM
