of the quickly cancelled shows. Some of my favorite shows only lasted 6 episodes. NBC should offer me a job during pilot season--when they pick out what they're going to air, I'd watch them & whatever it is that I liked they could just not even fucking bother putting on the air. It would save them so much time. *sighs*
: 1) The Critic - Jon Lovitz in a show that was at times funnier than The Simpsons but never got the credit it deserved.
I agree. I would marry Jon Lovitz tomorrow.
: 2) Action - A wonderful hollywod satire starring Jay Mohr. Each episode was more cutting than the one before it.
This show was one of the funniest I've ever seen. RIP Ted Demme.
: 3) Clerks: Uncensored - You know what it is, I know what it is, there is no need to describe it.
Yeah, yeah. I got the VHS so it's all good.
: 4) God, the Devil and Bob - James Garner is God, and French Stewart is Bob, the man whose mission it is to lead a good life in order to save humanity (God has a bet with the Devil that Bob will not be turned evil and if god looses, he has to blink man out of existance). Great animated show, very funny.
Ahhhhhhhhh! You remember this one??? I thought Comedy Central was picking it up--whatever happened to that?
: 6) House of Buggin' - John Leguizamo's short lived sketch comedy show was brilliant allways and was unfairly cancelled.
John Leguizamo is fucking hilarious.
My list:
Wasteland, ABC
Cold Feet, NBC
Oh Grow Up, ABC
The Others, NBC
