Some of these I have seen, I'll only comment on those and what I'd add.
: 1) The Critic - Jon Lovitz in a show that was at times funnier than The Simpsons but never got the credit it deserved.
Was funny when it came out. The reruns are still hilarious.
: 3) Clerks: Uncensored - You know what it is, I know what it is, there is no need to describe it.
True.
: 8) The Tick - Extremely cool sendup of the superhero genre. It was quite frankly the role Patrick Warburton was born for.
I wasn't impressed. You knew this would be out in 6 weeks.
: 9) Sports Night - Aaron Sorkin's writing was really good. This wasn't conventionally funny, but it was a very well written show with amazing charicterization and diologue.
Great show. I was a huge fan of it. You pretty much hit the nail on the head with that description.
Tenacious D - There was nothing to not love about this show. It first started in 97 as shorts after Mr. Show, and then they got another hour worth of shows in, I believe, 99. It was ahead of it's time and is still great if you can catch it on the HBO comedy channel.
Mr. Show - Can't wait for the DVD of this. It spawned the D's show and was one of the funniest things around. If it came out now, it would be huge.
