Hey Kevin, I was just wondering how the deal with Filmfour producing Dogma came about? Did you go to them or did they come to you?
In the UK, where I'm from, FilmFour and Channel 4 are the only ones willing to take a risk on new talent and quirky films, and so I've been a fan of them since I started getting into films.
There probably isn't a story behind this but I was just curious.
Oh yeah, and I also wondered that since you said people can't submit scripts to View Askew, do you only make films that you or people you know have written?
And finally, my mate told me a rumour that you and Jason Mewes were both writing scripts at the same time (when you was writing Clerks) and that whoever finished first was the film you guys would make. Is this true, and if it is did Jason Mewes ever finish his script and is it available to read?
