Please tell me Jersey Girl isn't just another excuse for you to reuse your worn out characters of Jay and Silent Bob. Please tell me it won't be another wasted effort full of pointless rapid-fire dialogue, inane pop-culture references, dimestore philosophy, and slapstick humor.
Two of your first three movies (Clerks and Chasing Amy) were good flicks. But otherwise you are on the fast track to B-movie hell, and your upcoming projects (a Fletch prequel?) don't bode well for your future as a serious (or seriously funny) moviemaker.
Change course, and stop living in your incestuous "View Askew" world, before its too late.
