I know this is pointless and the wrong place to do this, but i have never been so angry at a movie in my entire life.
Vanilla sky was the most completely botched piece of film i have ever seen. for the first two hours and ten minutes i was totally engrossed: the surrealism was consistent and engaging without alienating the audience, the aspects of human relationships it explored were fantastic, and that line they kept repeating, "you can't take the sweet without the sour" made this brilliant frame for the movie. Then they started screaming "Tech Support" and it all went to shit. the whole dream sequence ending completely invalidated everyting the movie had built with such a ruthless effciency that i was left stunned. I want my two and a half hours back.
