: Here's an example of some of the lovely, well-composed e-mails I recieve, this one written by JWMDogball1@aol.com in response to a notice I sent to an Indie film list I'm a member of regarding the IFC showing of A BETTER PLACE. Keep in mind that this list is comprised mostly of indie filmmakers themselves who often post info re: showings of their works.

: And now, the e-mail:

: What kind of a loser would advertise his own movie on an independent film list? Oh wait... You would you stupid loser! How low can you go? I think you're just trying to get people to buy the new cut of your DVD of A Better
: Place. Which blew as a movie anyway. I mean, I don't ususally turn off a movie before the end but, Jesus Christ that movie reeked of manure. Jason Lee was the only good part of that movie, and he was only present for less
: than one fourth of the movie. So, why were you trying to advertise your moronic student-film? I think you get a cut of the profits and you're just a greedy bum who is writing on Kevin Smith's coattails! ( Kevin Smith is a much better director than you) The second I saw your ugly mug on the Dogma DVD I knew you were a loser, you geek!

: ------------------------------------------

: All I can say is, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, too, JWMDogball1@aol.com!

: Vincent

: P.S.- For the record, I'm not seeing dime one of the money being generated from the DVD sales or the IFC showing, that all goes to View Askew to pay off the movie's bidget. So much for me "profiting", but I guess I am writing Kevin's coattails.
