The only reason I bought A BETTER PLACE on DVD was, in fact, because of your relationship with Kevin Smith and it's heavy discussion on this board.
I thought the movie was good. I'm sure you could rip it better than I could, my biggest compliment would be that A BETTER PLACE was hugely ambitious.
Yes, being friends with Kevin Smith gets your movie made and seen. Doesn't mean you suck, Vincent. I feel the guy is right to tarnish your "indie" film-maker status. He is simply pointing out you have had some help.
