Yes, I have seen other Lynch stuff. The man doesn't know how to end movies. The entire first half of the movie is dropped and never addressed. He sort of addresses it by making the entire thing a dream (or fantasy, whatever you wish to call it). That, my friend, is a cop-out, because it means he could have done anything and would never have to explain it. It also means that it is not a very well-made film. If that first part of the movie had been cut, everything that didn't have to do with the real plot, then it would have been a pretty good movie.

I do like the genre that Lynch pretends to be a part of (existentialism). Some of my favorite movies are "Brazil" and "Rosencranz and Guildenstern are Dead." Unfortunately I am not, and may never be, a Lynch fan.

If you got something out of it, great. I sure as hell didn't.
