Dude, I think you're reading a little too much into it. Also, the so called "playa" status of the characters could be an act. Sometimes men put up a macho front to cover up their homo erotic-desires ie. Andrew Dice Clay, Eddie Murphy and Jim J. Bullock. Ever wonder why Han is so afraid to declare himself to Leia. It's certainly not out of respect for Luke, because any real man would bitch slap that little punk and take Leia even if she wasn't his sister. Han is gay and he and Lando are obviously lovers. If the films are viewed with this in mind it adds extra drama to the betrayel at the end of Empire. Just like in Spartacus.
