Surely you mean pre-production!
I'm also at that stage with my film '4dayWEEKEND'.
I've got a complete cast and crew (plus surplus actors) all working for beer and cigarettes. Nice job too, cause the DV camera is costing me ... ouch.
That said - don't listen to the 15 grand rule!
Make it for nothing by knowing all the right people!
