I know what you mean. I am first generation from Palestine. You would think that all that is going on in the world right now that would be enough said, but if you do a little more research into a village called Dariasene (where my family comes from) you'd learn that my family escaped just before a mass slaughter occured. I've had to deal wit A LOT of racism these past few months and I've definetly had a lot to get angry about, but I think my efforts are best suited standing strong in the shoes I wear and writing what I think represents my mind the best.

Lifes too short to be so bitter. While I won't deny I am one jaded bitch, I will say I enjoy small things a lot more often....especially when it involves writing, comfy pj's and a cup o' coffee

: I was the other way around..I felt happy go lucky in my civic nature, and then I started doing some reading on Indonesia, and the like, and somewhere my heart broke. I absolutely need to know that my thoughts aren't completely transient. Writing them down at least gives them a life span longer than the latest burst of anger.
