i too am working on a script and I have a few ideas you might find helpful;
-Obviously,read your script over and over till you are tired of it. YOu should then see what needs to be added.
-Go to places, watch movies et cetera, in your movie and get more ideas;
-As stupid as it may sound;which i know it does, write a one-page biography for each of your peripheral characters. I made a template; If you write more about them, they seem more real and you realise 'Steve wouldn't do that!' or 'that's more a joey thing'.
