Great film. I saw it with a couple of friends who didn't really like it all that much. Something very different than what I expect from Crowe. It's a movie that you can really sink your teeth into while watching and then talking about with friends. Figuring out the meanings during the movie, but then also putting into question your definitions of reality, dreams, choices, regret, etc.
The ending was a little too "Super Mario Bros 2" or "Newhart" for me...but the fact that it turned into a psychological mystery made all the difference. It lured me in and kept me there since the actual murder mystery angle was predictable.
Your sweet and sour line was one of the most memorable ones though...
That and the "I'm from Ohio...and I'm drunk." Just great.
