A couple of years ago I went to Las Vegas. My friends were staying at a different hotel and it was someone's birthday...so they had a pool party. Now, I don't usually drink much...so for me to be drinking Bacardi was not a really great idea. I only had about one and a half drinks before I fell down for the first time (the concrete was slippery and I fell face down on the ground leaving a GIANT bruise on my left hip bone). Then, when I tried to tell the staff about my unpleasent fall...they jusy sort of looked at me and said "yeah thanks." I decided to tell my friends all about it and was told "Get over it." So I did. THEN, while on my third drink, I ended up tipping backwards into a bush. I was helped out of my hell and directed back to a nice lawn chair. Finally, I plotted my escape (I was told by my friend Theresa that I "couldn't leave yet," but I REALLY needed to get back to my hotel because I had company coming) and ran for the exit. The last thing I remember before my Mom was shaking me to wake me up was reaching for the door at the other hotel. The rest is fuzzy...but my Mom said I got up and started walking towards the bathroom doing some crazy walk, puked and came back out chattering away. I had apparently walked through the Luxor and out to the taxi area...got a taxi, told him/her where to take me, paid them and got back to my room WITH MY DRINK. The bruise lasted for another week or so...it was HUGE.
So I babble a little.
: I posted this earlier on the last board about what happened to me this past Fri. night.
: Recap: My work party started @ noon w/booze & food. I think I left there around 6pm-ish. I say "think" because I don't remember leaving. The next thing I remember is waking up on my couch in my pajamas/sleepwear around 10pm. Then I fell right back asleep until 4:30am.
: I don't remember being on the train home or anything, but I managed to get home unscathed and not arrested. This wouldn't be my first time with a blackout (maybe the 4th or 5th), just the most recent.
