depends. I have several notebooks stashed around me for when the mood hits. I have a hard time just sitting down and writing though. I tend to jot down my thoughts and ideas when they occur...or right after. Then When I do sit my ass down, I have something to work from.
so yeah, most of my masterpiece is on bar napkins. heh.
I actually do a lot of thinking in the bath with Madonna blaring though, does that help? or Johnny Cash...or Ella...Sometimes the Squirrel Nut Zippers, too. depends on my mood, really. but Madonna's my own personal muse...her and beer...and an occasional toke.
