As for my point of view, the reason I liked grunge is the same reason I got into Kevin Smith movies, and that is they were mine. Not that I possesed them, but coming from a rurel town nobody listened to grunge except me in high school. None of my friends had ever watched a KS movie until I introduced them to it. It's part of that whole "discovery" process that we all go through, and it is always the things we discover on our own that make the greatest impact.
