If I still had a free, permanent connection then maybe. But I only really come online for a few hours of every day and the simple fact is that nothing I see one day is still active the next morning. What I see in the morning has gone by the evening. Yes, I can go look at the old boards, but those posts aren't active any more.

Another feature of those boards is that the most recently replied-to threads move to the top. Hence the subjects that people are interested in remain alive for a long time and the others don't...which saves a lot of pointless re-posting.

Basically, I just think it's a much better way. The only advantage I can see is that as it stands you can scroll down and see if any reds have posted to something immediately, but that's easy to do with a search function anyway.
