Yeah, I know. All that will work is to put her on an extinction schedule in which she gets no reinforcement from any of us. (Actually that would be Skinnerian extinction, not Pavlovian, but Pavlovian looks better in the subject heading.) One problem is that when you first start an extinction schedule, the behavior increases before it's extinguished and most people can't bring themselves to ride that out.
