J&SBSB was released in the UK today... and having just been to watch it I am slightly disappointed... dunno.. but having seen & loving all the other movies this one came across a bit too much like the AmPie/Roadtrip et all stylee movies (Admittedly a very good version of 'that type of movie'...) But all in all not the classic bittersweet heartfelt sorta thing with lots of understated dialouge, that I was hoping for/expecting... Just didn't seem to get lost in it.... Now maybe I am missing the point... Good film but bit sad that I don't seem to have been given too much to think about... Felt a little like an imitation of a KS film rather than a real KS film...
Like I say maybe that's the point..
But on a more positive point for so reason I loved the Shot of Scott Mosier staring upwards... Dunno why but that creased me up quite a bit...
