I understand your point of view, but I think they had more of an impact on the style of music that we hear. The Blues style is the blueprint for rock n' roll and again, is the major influence for rock n roll as a style of music.

What I was talking about was The Beatles being an influence on modern musical acts (from the 60s to the present). If you interview all artists now, The Beatles would be mentioned a hell of a lot more than any blues artists.


: Hell, Elvis was a bigger influence than those guys.

Re-read my previous paragraph. Yes Elvis was/is a major influence in music, but if you interview all artists (impossible I know), The Beatles will pop up more than Elvis.
