No, because your question could have arisen out of general naivety about The Beatles. However, it would be EXTREMELY hard to believe that you don't know who The Beatles were.
But to start a comment with "I hate The Beatles" is just asking to be flamed, isn't it? The purpose of that statement is purely to generate a knee-jerk reaction.
Wouldn't it just have been better to say "Well, they weren't my favourite band, but I still feel sad the guy's passed away"?
