This has been in the back of the old brainpan since the last Vulgarthon and since I've seen the Dogma SE. I figured this would be a good place and time to ask.

Taking the much stated claim that Dogma was ultimately the movie that you wanted to make. And that it's your ode to god, and all that jazz.

How much did it kill you that you had to cut out 99% of your wordy, bullshit, grade school ruminations about the nature of god and religion? You apparently had all these important insights to share with whoever was willing to sit through the movie. But you had to cut them out. Didn't it just tear you up a little bit?

C'mon, I want to know.
