schindler's list is a boring film; the subject is deepyinteresting, it's just devoid of intellect or charm (Although the latter is unessential) and it is boring. The only people who don't admit that are the ones who feel guilty if they say so. The film is boring; the real incident was intriguing.
SPielburg factoid; jaws was originally made for TV. It is one of only 3 movies upped from there to theatre release; hbo's last seduction and toy story 2, which was first upped to DTV. Also, rocky wasn't the first live action movie abot 'moose und squirrel', the first was boris and natasha, which was made for cinema circa 1988, but wound up on cable four years later.
