Look, I really enjoy Harrison Ford, but Baldwin was perfect for "Red October"...Ford would have made it awkward...especially since he and Connery already have the "dad/son" thing going on from the Indiana Jones flicks...

Ford was just too old to play Ryan in those first three Clancy flicks...
