I did actually e-mail HolyToads waaay back about this. I didn't care about the initial remarks but the stranger/family member thing was enough that I forwarded it on to HT with a note saying "is this acceptable?" and got no response. This severely pissed me off and became a grudge I carried with me for far too long.
