: I think Brian was referring to with his post down below. ANd hon rect means "right" Rectify-breaks down rect(right) fy(make) or to make right. And rectangle: rect(right) angle-right angle. Its actually not that difficult.

You need to grow a sense of humor, and don't call me "hon" and then tell me what rectify means, I know I'm retarded, but I have a dictionary and I can read it.
You ppl need to get the poles outta yer arses.

: : Why are some words so contradictory? Like the word selfless. We're supposed to be in touch with our Self, yet selflessness is a good thing.
: : Selfish--if pondered, could mean regarding to the self, nothing more, not such a bad notion, instead it's a negative term, as in selfish bastard. And what about the word rectangle? Seems the prefix is leaning towards the word rectum, but what does rectangle have to do with the rectum? Oh and on to the word rectify, which seems it could mean "make like the rectum", which, of course, it does not. You humans are really confusing and need to be on your guards with the translation of such terms, which could get you into a lot of trouble.
: : One last important note, if you go to France and someone asks about "une douche", don't give them feminine hygiene products, that's shower in french, all they want is a shower. Boy, is my face red!!!!
