Kylie Minogue is a singere/actor from Australia. Getting her big break on Aussie soap opera "Neighbours", she parlayed this into a lucrative singing career that has marketed polastic pop successfully for years. Apart from a mid-nineties attempt to crack America in awful films (Streetfighter, Bio-Dome), a sad crack from her younger sister (who can't sing) and a mild reinvention as an "indie rawka" (She did a duet with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds), she has been just as recognizable a disco queen as Madonna. Oh, and she still outsells Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, etc. Apart from continued pop success, she has recently duetted with Robbie Williams for the international hit "Kids" and appeared in a cameo in (Australian)Baz Luhrmann's "Moulin Rouge". The film, not the stupid song.
