Unfortunately, you have been misusing it. The good news is that now that you've been shown the path of enlightenment, you can start "Fuckin A"-ing like a champ!
For another good "Fuckin' A" occurance, check out "Office Space". (It's near the end of the flick.)
Hope things have gotten cleared up for ya'.
Peace
PS: If someone responds to this with "Fuckin A", you're not very original or funny.
: Ok, so this may have been asked, but like everyone said I read the summaries and its not on there so i figured id give it a shot. It's kind of a dumb question but here goes..... I have always used the expression "Fuckin A" when i messed up or got pissed, an anger exclaimation so to speak. However in Kevin's movies i notice it used in a different way. Such as in Chasing Amy when Kevin is telling his Amy story and he gets to the part when he says something to the extent of "I looked her straight in the eye and told her it was over, i walked" Jay then says the phrase in question "Fuckin A" and Kevin responds with "No idiot, it was a mistake." This leads me to believe that "Fuckin A" was used to express "Hell Yea" or "Right On" or something to that extent. I also noticed this in Clerks when Dante was being asked about the Gatorade and Randall says that they arent going to have a sudden shortage of Gatorade (taking the side of the guy that asked about the Gatorade) and the guy that asked about the Gatorade said "Fuckin A" once again i get the feeling that it was meant to express a response similar to "Hell Yea" So maybe ive been using the expression wrong, so if anyone can tell me what exactly THEY mean when they are saying Fuckin A it would be appreciated, sorry for the lengthy post and the "newbie" nature of it
