Kevin,

I really enjoyed all of your movies. I enjoy how they tie in together and the humor that is laced throughout. I am interested in comic books as well, so any opportunity to see a movie about one or having references to one is always a delight. I am going to New Jersey, so I will be stopping by your shop. I noticed the note you wrote in "Brand New Day" above where you explained that you do take our notes into account when making movies in an effort to do the best you can, so I thought I would add that the character Beth in "Dogma" did not seem sincere in areas where she was to express her feelings; For example, when Jay, Silent Bob, Beth, the muse, and the thirteenth apostle were approaching the church where the people were being slain, she did not look very appalled, although she made the motions that she was.

On another note, I enjoyed that you made a film centered around religion and that Alanis Morrisette played god. The references to Batman and Star Wars, particularly with Silent Bob were hilarious. I am also glad that you did not kill off Dante at the end of "Clerks," because I enjoy seeing actors and characters appearing in later movies in general.

Finally, I have two questions. First, you put a note at the end of "Dogma" that Jay and Silent Bob would be appearing in "Clerks 2: Still Clerkin'," and yet the news I heard was that you would not be continuing with this string of movies or characters anymore. Has this movie idea been tossed out or is it still on a back-burner?

The last question has to do with your daughter. I noticed that you named her Harley Quinn, which is really cool (I am considering naming my girl child, should I have one, Aliera E'Kieron due to a book series by Steven Brust), and I am wondering what led you to this decision, and whether your wife was whole-heartedly involved with this idea?

At any rate, I will be visiting your comic shop the second week of October, I am excited, and I hope things are wonderful for your family.

Cristophi
