I mean that she has changed genres. She has moved into doing what appear to be more mainstream dramatic roles. Not like Kevin is a stepping stone at all. Its just that for most people, when you make it big, you dont go back to the cult film director to re-play a part from early in your career. She has moved to a land of Anthony Hopkins and others like that. One reason I respect Affleck so much is that the dude hit it big and remains because he loves it so much. Would I be here if I didnt think Kevins stuff was the best stuff around? No. Im a fan because I love it. I just dont think that someone that is getting offers for parts that could possibly win her an Academy Award would come back to do a fun comedy for fans of a cult director. Cool the jets man.
