This is a silly thing to say. If you want to donate to the firefighters, you should go ahead and do it. What you're really asking for is for Kev to give you a free t-shirt, and in return, you'll make a donation to the firefighters fund.
If you don't want a Berserker shirt enough to buy one, then that's up to you. If you feel you need to be rewarded with a t-shirt in order to be persuaded to donate to the firefighters, that's a pretty sucky attitude.
