I hope you don't mind if I rant for a bit. I've been visiting the Askewniverse for quite a while now but don't write very often. I just feel like I need to vent.
Afghanistan has been held hostage by the Taliban, a cult-like religious group, for over 20 years. Their practices are horrendous. We need to find a way to stop the Taliban and the Front (Osama bin Laden's group) but leave that country and it's citizens in peace. As it is they've pulled out all the good folks that were in Afghanistan to help the poor with food and medical attention. Many in that country are suffering already.
My suggestion is simple - take out all of bin Laden's followers all over the world as quickly as possible. And take out bin Laden last. Don't make a martyr out of anyone so evil.
I can understand the need for justice. I also have a 6-year-old daughter that I want to watch grow up. Do you think that there's a way we can stop terrorist groups without starting WW III? Y'all aren't busy right now, are you? Just give us 5 minutes and solve all the problems in the world :-)
