Seriously, I thought it was bad when I heard "KEEP ON ROCKING IN THE FREE WORLD" butchered into some Super-patriotic fightsong complete with Bush soundclips, but this is just scary. I mean it's been perfectly acceptable to manipulate a badass but thoughtful song that offers commentary about what's wrong with America ever since Reagan used BORN IN THE USA as his goddamn theme song for his UTOPIA:1984 campaign.

It's the use of KICK SOME ASS, a generally thougtless, fun little song that serves as little more than a near mockery of QUEEN's "We Will Rock You" that really frightens me. It's a FUN song...and there's nothing fun or funny about what has happened or any of the actions that America is on the verge of taking to "defend" itself.

Seriously, if these assholes at the radio stations want to mix something in their spare time I suggest a little Barry McGuire tune from the 1960s...

"EVE OF DESTRUCTION".....

Be it on our side of the fence or theirs...or more likely both....that's what we're facing....

Fucking radio stations,

Kyle

: My local radio station played a special version of "Kick Some Ass" that had clips of Bush speaking and people chanting "U.S.A." throughout the song and the song ending with "God Bless America." Has anyone else heard this version? It was played real late at night (12:00 a.m.). They changed the meaning of "I still want her..." from the singer talking about a girl to America (since most people always refer to countries in female names).
