: I've seen the cut in question; a friend of mine even burned me a copy (which hasn't stopped me seeing it theatrically four times since, and only once at home: On Tuesday, when I needed a diversion). The music is a temp mix (hence all the Mallrats songs and stuff), and some of the effects are not finished (Scooby Doo, Cock Knocker). Seems to be just an earlier take of the flick.
