Hey Kev. My name is Mike Studard. I am a EMT from Memphis TN. These past few days have been pretty hard on me. Watching so many others in the EMS die. I have put myself on a list to go to New York and help. I will be leaving next week. My wife and I are huge fans of yours and today we went and saw Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. It was the only thing to put a smile on my face and the past week. I am also just a lucky guy like you. I am old headbanging, comic book geek, who got to marry a hottie, and she's a nurse to boot! I have to keep her informed on some of the references in the movie. Like when the security guard calls into ECHO BASE, or in DOGMA, "NO TICKET". Sh elaughs at me and wonders why I know all this stuff. She puts up with the comics I get and the McFarlane toys I love so much. But....I do want to know your secret on getting your wife to agree to name your child after a comic character. I have not been able to get mine to agree...maybe Steve Rogers Studard? Oliver Queen Studard? "NOPE!" is all she says...lol. I belive I am the man I am because of comics. I have always been a excelled reader and I think its due to comics. I also have my alltime comic faves tattooed on me....once again the wife laughed and said "OK". I have CAPTAIN AMERICA, HAWKMAN, and of course DOCTOR MIDNITE. I guess all this rambling is just a way to say thanks. Thanks for making films that made me laugh, made me think, and then made me laugh again. Thanks for writing comics that are so sharp, I was at my comic store every weds for new issues. And thanks for showing the world that JUST CAUSE A GUY COLLECTS COMICS THAT DOESN'T MEAN HE CAN'T START SOME SHIT! Hope all is well with you and your.
