: Hi, I am writing to get not just Kevins view but all out there. I am writing my a term paper this year as a persuasion essay. What I am set to say is that comic books are a valuable medium for modern day expression(others including movies, television, and radio) I want the opinions of others, and of course (time permitting) Kevins, as he has worked through both comics and movies, as to which is the favored medium and why? Thanks!

Comic books really get some older people to turn their nose up. The reasons for this is that when the medium was just beginning, it was soley for kids, but during the 80's when artist and authors, most notably Frank Miller started working on more mature comics, that all changed and truly mature and insightful comics started shwoing up everywhere inspiring the real demographic to get involved, the 15 and ups.

At this point and time, comics are, yes indeed, a valueable and VALUED medium that makes it a thriving industry, much like film.

As to my favorite medium, it all depends. i really would have hated, like a Crouching Tiger comic, but Momento, while being a great film would have been a amazing comic, then again guy pearce and camp would be poor, but why not both??

As for comci that should be a movie, Ghost World was really much better of a movie, so the two are sort of like that snake eating it's tail, it really all depends.
