i heard the buildings will not be exactly as...they used to be.

i heard that the company that built the towers has a 99 year lease on the land and bulding rights, and are looking at different designs.

They are looking at different ideas, and the one that they mentioned that i agree most with is two bildings, one a similar office building, and the other a large memorial tower. they think a lot of current building residents will not want to be in such a high building again ...

: - they even gave a timeline of 7 to 10 years to restore lower Manhattan fully.

: So in 10 years, the digitally politically-corrected SPIDERMAN will be terribly dated and will serve to forever remind us of that short period of time when the Towers didn't stand. Great call, Sony.

: : ...that Giuliani said that they *will* in fact rebuild the towers eventually. I was watching CNN or FOXNews, and they brought up the topic of what would eventually be built in the area in the future, whether it be a park, or a memorial, and they quoted the mayor as saying, "The skyline of New York will be restored", or something to that effect.

: : It's extremely premature to be talking about that, but I think it's great news.

: : So what will all these studios do when the towers are rebuilt, edit them back in? It's ridiculous.
