Glad to hear from you... I agree with everything you said. I have never been a die-hard American patriot. I've had my fair share of "Screw everyone, they're just out for themselves" days. But I've never cried more at a news broadcast then I did this week. The tears welled up, and welled up, until I saw, of all things (I think it was bottled up and released) the national anthem being played in front of Buckingham Palace.
I am going to mirror some of the statements already uttered on this board, but I watched Clerks this week, simply in order to alleviate, for a short time, the utter numbness that took over on Thursday. While I know that I will never, ever forget any of the things I have seen or heard regarding this, I want to say thanks. I hope it's not too corny, but I think you made this week more bearable for me.
