Somewhere on this web board there is an interview with kevin on 'mallrats" which reads"Mosier and I we're interested to see how far we could take the ever legendary hollywood movie demands, so we aked for a monkey".{The summarized and don't remember all the details version i conclude that in all reality most orangutans like pretty close to each other, from a human being perspective anyway, I would have to say probably not. Although again on this site Kevin tells us that the "monkey's" name is "tango".
