Yesterday I went to visit a friend of mine I hadn't seen in a few years who inexplicably lives in the same city as I do and our paths hadn't crossed. While I was there, his roommate's booking agent called, trying to get an acoustic act to play a show at a cool little bar, a last-minute replacement for whoever was supposed to be there. But the guy he was calling for was sick, so my buddy says, "Hey, you guys (my brotehr and I) want to play an acoustic show at Churchills?" and, not being booked for anything, my brother and I said, and I quote, "Sure, what the hell."
So we pick up our sound system and head up there. As we're setting up, I came to realize that the CD playing over the house stereo was the soundtrack to J&SBSB, which firmly plants this post on-topic, because I realized while hearing the sountrack unadorned by movie that I wouldn't want to listen to most of the stuff on the soundtrack UNLESS it had the movie wrapped around it. Does anybody else on this board NOT like the music on the soundtrack for J&SBSB?
