The public expects to see the DVD out at the same time as the VHS; and they expect to see it within a few months after it has left theaters. Really good DVDs just don'e happen, they are produced. As I'm sure Vincent can attest to, it's a lot of time and work. So companys put out a bare bones disk and then put out the good one at their leisure. This is changing though. DVDs are getting more and more popular and DVD production is begining nearly the same time as movie production. DVDs are still in their infancy and there will be problems; but they are slowly being worked out.
