The point of this board, if you read the summaries and the like, is to have some intelligent discussion and to aim your thoughts and questions at Kevin and the Reds. Just because someone else hops in unsolicited sometimes, says "One side, Reds!" and fields a question rudely is not a reason to be upset. If you're really posting intelligently and politely (I don't know; I haven't been watching you), then it's that guy who's out of line and not you.
And it's definitely not Kev who's at fault for you getting blasted, so don't think it's him that breeds the anti-newbie sentiment. I've been around, on and off, for a long time now and I'm as tired of that "All you newbies suck" stuff as anyone. It's no more intelligent than asking about Clerks 2 for the 745th time, to be honest. But Kevin Smith is a nice, easygoing cat who--to be honest--would probably answer "What's with Clerks 2" ad infinitum if he thought it would make the fans happy or bring more people in to see JSBSB. I don't pretend to "know" the man, but I've met him a few times and talked to him at great length when I did. He's a class act and I've only ever seen him flame a couple people, ever.
And they really deserved it.
