: I am not buying all of the people here saying how hilarious EVERYONE thought it was. When I saw it, opening night, it was about 80% full, and about 30% of the people laughed throughout, about 30% laughed in parts, and about 40% didn't laugh at all, or let out a few courtesy laughs.

Hmm, well my account was pretty accurate for my situation. Both times I saw it, it was later at night (10 p.m. or later) and it was a pretty young and hip crowd. Perhaps that makes the difference?

: I just think it was a weak movie. Kevin Smith can do so much better, and has, with every movie that he's made.

It didn't have the deep intellectual overtones that Dogma may have had but I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I mean come on, this was a movie about Jay and Silent Bob after all.
