The clear answer is of course, the extras. Quite frankly, even if you did mangage to squeeze it all on one disc, I'm pretty sure you would still be paying the same price. When it first came out, I believe it cost something like $24.99, maybe even $19.99. The price seems high, but I don't think its becuase there are two discs. DVDs just aren't meant to be cheap unless they are for movies with no real extras. "Mallrats" is only one and it cost about that much. Hell, "Clerks" is on with only a few extras in compairison to the cartoon, costs nearly $40.00! I would say that the extras really make the disc worth owning for some people. I'm in the group that loves the audio commentary (I never did get over my love for MST3K).

: Whats the deal with the 2cds on the clerks cartoon, it would be cool to watch all of the episodes in a row, but because of the 2 cds thats not going to happen. I would think a DVD could hold the entire 6 episodes. Is this a shameless marketing tactic, or is there some good reason for the two cds.
