But to be here to see the sun rise tomorrow.
Yes, it's scary as all hell. I know that for the majority of the morning, between the radio report as I was pulling into my work parking lot that a plane had hit the World Trade Center and the time they closed down all the airports, I was convinced it was going to continue across the country. As the 9am hour hit across the country, and people just like you, and me, and the people who headed in to the World Trade Center this morning went to work, I was afraid they were going to keep doing the same thing.
Right now, that seems unlikely. There's noone going anywhere as far as airspace is concerned.
But when they reopen, that's the question.
Tonight, the security of this country is breached for the first time in a loooooong time, and we're all terrified in a way most of us are completely unfamilliar with.
But we're not alone - what's going on right here on the board proves that. And we can get through this together. The whole way that New York and the country in general have handled this is amazing to me. I expected looting, panic in the streets, but there doesn't seem to be any of that. I'm actually proud of us.
Tomorrow's another day, and we have no way of knowing what's going to come with it. But today, despite the astonishing and terrible loss of life, we've managed to keep holding on. I'm not a religious person by any stretch of the imagination, but in this case, I really have to say...
Keep the faith, guys.

Jill
