: After today's tragedy and having to leave NYC on foot today, with the fear that any building could explode at any time, I am now so depressed that I can't fall asleep. When I finally got home today from downtown NYC, I turned on the T.V. and all I could watch was the news practically all day. It's just so tragic and so horrible..... The shot of that 767 plane crashing into the tower and watching it collapse is just so surreal that the fact that the towers don't exist anymore hasn't kicked into my head quite yet. This horrific event certainly changed me. I'm now trying to get to sleep by watching some comedies to help take my mind off of the attack, but nothing seems to work. I'm just so damn depressed. I think I'm going to watch the Clerks: Uncensored DVD, maybe that will help me recover from this period of depression. Does anyone else have any other suggestions of how to try to cure this depression?

Videogames. The more involved the better. Or anything that distracts you mentally. I know it is hard to start something that is usually so trivial, but from the sound of your state you have every justification.
